Mr Cook has managed projects throughout Australia and has 26 years exposure to a broad range of commodities, gold, nickel, tantalum, mineral sands, iron ore, coal, manganese, chromite and diamonds. He began his career with Bell Basic Industries in the quarrying division and has subsequently held positions with Civils Australia, Ashton Gold, and MacMahon Contracting and more recently as Mining Operations Manager for BGC Contracting, General Manager Operations for Consolidated Minerals Ltd and Chief Operating Officer for View Resources Ltd.

Mr Kaczmarek is an accountant and an economist with almost 30 years experience in the resources and minerals processing industry covering projects in Australia and overseas. He was Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Troy Resources NL for 10 years and prior to that, spent seven years each at explorer and miner Burmine Ltd, prior to its merger with Sons of Gwalia, and in the base metals division of CRA, now Rio Tinto.

Exploration Manager (July 2008)
Mr Kirkpatrick is a geologist with 42 years multi-commodity exploration and mining experience with projects throughout Australasia. He commenced his career as a Mine Geologist at Broken Hill focussing on lead and zinc and followed this with positions at Mareeba Mining, Metals Exploration and Geopeko. He spent a period of 8 years as a consulting geologist to numerous resources companies supervising exploration activities and mining operations and undertaking project reviews. From July 1992 until the company’s takeover in mid-2008, Mr Kirkpatrick performed several senior roles, including as Australian Exploration Manager, for Herald Resources, focussing on the definition and development of open pit gold operations in the Goldfields.

Simson
Administration Manager (December 2007)
Miss Simson has over 6 years experience in administration roles in the WA mining industry, particularly gold and uranium. She spent over 2 years FIFO to the Wiluna Gold Mine before relocating to the Perth office with Agincourt Resources. Following the takeover by Oxiana Ltd, Miss Simson worked for Nova Energy Ltd which then merged with Toro Energy Ltd. She has been with Navigator Resources since this time. Before her mining roles, she worked within the tourism industry for 9 years which included extensive travel within the state.
Ian Bignell, BSc
(Mining Engineering) MSc DIC Mineral Production Management
General Manager – Bronzewing Operations (February 2010)
Mr Bignell brings a wealth of mining management experience to the Company. He was previously the Registered Mine Manager at Argyle Diamond Mine and has held management roles at Bulyanhulu Gold Mine in Tanzania, Gympie in Queensland and Emperor Gold Mines in Fiji. Mr Bignell holds a First Class Mine Managers Certificate and is a key member of the Company’s senior management team playing a critical role in the operations at the Bronzewing Gold Project.
